Slimming World - WEEK 17 - Apr 2016



Not my best week its fair to say!! After an off plan weekend followed by a 3 day stomach bug..
My body doesn’t know if it’s coming or going!! I’m missing fruit and veg and can’t look at a bar of chocolate without my stomach heaving!! WHO AM I

Not going to post any food photos because everything was either off plan or very brown and bland (and mostly toast) But I did still keep tabs on what I ate regardless,,,,,, 

Fri 22nd Apr 2016 – Day 109
Breakfast & Lunch will be on plan because dinner is in my mums and a ‘syn mystery’
Breakfast: 1 x Weetabix & skimmed milk
Lunch: 2 x egg muffins with beans
Dinner: OFF PLAN – 2 x slices of pizza & chips with light mayo

Sat 23rd  Apr 2016 – Day 110
Its gonna be a mad day and probably off plan, so Spinning class at 10am to try and counter act!
Breakfast:  Yogurt & raspberries
Lunch:  2 x sausages (2) bacon medallions, egg & mushrooms, tea (HEA) 3 x bread (HEB) syns for ketchup & butter (3)
Dinner: off plan - chinese
Minding my sisters 3 smallies, so from 3.30pm onwards I was off plan

Sun 24th   Apr 2016 – Day 111
Really bad day food wise, you don’t want to know what I ate!!!
But I did do a 5k school walk, so I wasn’t just sitting around eating, I was on the go from 8am this morning on 3 hours sleep!

Mon 25th Apr 2016 – Day 112
Very tired and achey today, so I cancelled spinning!
Breakfast: 2 x egg muffins with beans
Lunch: Fruit & yogurt with tea & 2 x hifi bars (HEB) ((I forgot my lunch))
Dinner: SW Chips with salad & mince
My burgers didn’t work out (they fell apart) so I mixed in my mushrooms & passatta & twas grand
2 Litres of Water & 8 syns

Tues 26th  Apr 2016 – Day 113
Still extremely tired!
Breakfast: 1 x Weetabix & skimmed milk
Lunch: 2 x egg muffins, beans & salad
Dinner: 2 x toast with butter (8)
Not feeling great, really bad headaches, crazy tired and my stomach sounds like a tractor!

Weds 27th   Apr 2016 – Day 114
Feel horrible and can’t keep anything down, but staying home wasn’t an option. .so I avoided eating as much as possible! Not ideal, but needs must!!
Breakfast: 2 x toast with butter (3 syns)
Lunch: chicken toastie (3.5 syns)
Dinner: half portion of chicken fried rice (6 syns)
It was my sister birthday, so Chinese for dinner, I passed on the cake tho!!

Thurs 28th Apr 2016 – Day 115
Still not feeling right and still not keeping any food in my belly.. BUT today I’m hungry.. Not sure what the scales will show later on!!
Breakfast: 2 x toast with butter (3 syns) & tea
Lunch: Turkey Salad toastie (3.5 syns)
Weigh in at 5.30… I was down 1lb (didnt stay for the meeting because I didnt think I could cope with the food talk)
Dinner: cheese on toast at 10pm.. does that count as dinner?

Slimming World - WEEK 16 - Apr 2016




How is your weight loss journey going? I must admit that some days are easier than others, but I think I'm starting to get back into the swing of things.... Fri 15th Apr 2016 – Day 102
So I was hoping for more of a loss last night, so I’ll keep going and hopefully see a better loss next week
Breakfast: 35g bran Flakes & skimmed milk
Lunch: 2 x Ham, mushroom & tomato egg muffins with beans & Salad
Dinner: Beef in Blackbean sauce (8 syns) with carrots, mushroom & boiled rice
Tonight I had my purple snack (5 syns) and was meant to end the day on 13 syns BUT got a taste for the chocolate and carried on eating, I did count them but I was way over!!

Sat 16th  Apr 2016 – Day 103
Started my day with a 1 hour spinning class and spent the day at home cleaning and gardening, so plenty of body magic
Breakfast: Yogurt & raspberries
Lunch: Egg wrap, 3 x bacon medallions, 2 x sausages (2) tomato & mushrooms
Dinner: SW Chips with turkey burger and salad (5 syns + HEB)
I made 16 lemon drizzle buns today (8 syns for the whole cake) so half a syn per bun.. they are so nice mixed with fruit & yogurt

Sun 17th Apr 2016 – Day 104
Breakfast: Yogurt & berries
Lunch: Bacon & Egg Toasted bagel (HEB)
Dinner: Roast Pork steak, Oxo roast potatoes & loadsa veggies
Ended up going to the cinema to get out of the house and I was in the kinda form where I just wanted to stuff my face!! So I did…….. don’t think my 5.5 syns I had left covered what I consumed!

Mon 18th Apr 2016 – Day 105
Woke with belly ache! Will I ever learn!! Low syns until Thurs I think!!
Breakfast: 35g Bran Flakes & skimmed milk
Lunch: Tomato Mugshot & Turkey Salad
Dinner: Marinade chicken wings (1.5syns) with SW chips & salad
Dare I say I enjoyed spinning class tonight!!

Tues 19th Apr 2016 – Day 106
Star week has arrived L and I am STARVING
Breakfast: 1 x Weetabix & skimmed milk (and Hifi bar = half HEB)

Dinner: Bacon with turnip & potatoes
Used all my syns for chocolate today BUT I did stay on plan…

Weds 20th Apr 2016 – Day 107
Feel rotten today!! All swollen and bloated!
Breakfast: Yogurt & raspberries
Lunch: Chicken Salad on a Bagel slim (HEB + 1.5 syns)
Dinner: Mushy pea curry, Chicken fillet, boiled rice & punnet of mushrooms
It was a gorgeous evening and I was very tempted to have an ice cream, but I resisted J

Thurs 21st  Apr 2016 – Day 108
Really hoping for a good result tonight, hope star week doesn’t go against me!
Breakfast: 2 x ham, mushroom & tomato egg muffins with beans
Lunch: Ham Salad on a Bagel slim (HEB + 1.5 syns)
Dinner: Mammy Dinner – Pork chop with mashed potatoes & veg (syns for oil)
Happy with my loss, I just have to accept that I can’t pull a big number! I think the most I’ve ever lost is a week is 4lbs!

Slimming World - WEEK 15 - April 2016




Fri 8th  April 2016 – Day  96
Happy Friday.. ok after a week of junk and skipping weigh in last night, I’m ready to start again
Breakfast: 2 x Weetabix with skimmed milk & a pear (HEA, HEB & speed)
Lunch: Ham Salad & tea (synfree)
Dinner: Ham, mushroom & tomato 3 egg omelette with beans (2 syns for cheese single)

4 Litres of Water & 5 syns

Sat 9th Apr 2016 – Day  97
First spinning class  after a 5 week break, It was tough but good
Breakfast: Yogurt & raspberries
Lunch: Egg Wrap, BLT, beans & 2 x Sausages (2 syns)
Dinner:  Beef in Blackbean sauce (8 syns) with carrots, mushroom & boiled rice

Sun 10th Apr 2016 – Day  98
Orange weather warning in Cork today, so didn’t leave the house!!
Breakfast: 2 x boiled eggs (2 syns butter) Fruit with yogurt
Lunch: Chunky Bean & Tomato soup
Dinner: Roast Chicken, OXO roast potatoes, peas, carrots, cauliflower & brocalli

Going to try SP days this week to see how I get on..
Breakfast: Fruit & Yogurt
Lunch: Chunky Bean & Tomato soup with ham & boiled egg salad
Dinner: Courgette Bolognese with mushrooms

I had 2 yogurts, which was free and salad dressing that was free, so not sure if I can count today as SP
I’ve decided not to have my 2nd HEB, my choice but didn’t feel like I needed it

Tues 12th Apr 2016 – Day  100
Giving SP another go today… So no yogurts today & I’ve a different salad dressing (with syns) to try
Breakfast: 2 x Ham, mushroom & tomato egg muffins with beans
Lunch: Toasted bagel Slim (HEB) with cheese (1.5) Turkey & salad (1 syn for light thousand island dressing)
Dinner: Bacon & Turnip

4 Litres of Water & 7.5 syns

HEB + 2.5 syns


100 days today since I started filling in The Skinny Dolls 100 Day Challenge… I’ve definitely had more good days than bad this time around (good days are pink)

SP day no. 3 today
Breakfast: 35g brans Flakes & skimmed milk
Lunch: Chunky Bean & Tomato soup with Turkey Salad
Dinner: Mayflower Chicken Curry with Cauliflower rice, mushrooms & carrots (4 syns for 28g)
My hand blender went up in smoke as I tried to bend my mushy pea curry, so luckily I had Mayflower in the cupboard to save the day..

SP day no. 4 and weigh day
Breakfast: 2 x Ham, mushroom & tomato egg muffins with beans
Lunch: Chunky Bean & Tomato soup with 3 x Ryvitas (3) light cheese triangle (1.5) Ham, rocket & beetroot
5.30 weigh in… down 2.5lbs
Dinner: Mammy Dinner of Roast Pork steak with all the trimmings…. YUM
